Today, we celebrate Women's Equality Day to commemorate the 103rd anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment to the United States Constitution, which granted women the right to vote. We honor those women who tirelessly persevered to achieve this historical milestone. This day also serves as a catalyst for discussions about gender equality to include representation in the Blockchain and Web3 space. As COO @JanetAdamsAI highlighted: “It's a moment in time and it's a day where we celebrate the progress we've made and the female leadership we see around us, but we also bring onto the agenda to look at what progress we haven't made and to remind us where we have further work to do.” That is why we invited 50 industry leaders, innovators, and mentors who have achieved remarkable success in the industry to the inaugural Women in Web3 Luncheon at @RareEvo in Denver. Throughout the luncheon, attendees had the opportunity to connect with fellow industry thinkers, makers, doers, and creators to explore conversations around diversity and inclusion and share success stories as part of the inspiration and celebration of #WomensEqualityDay. Our shared goal is to build an expansive network that nurtures collaboration, learning, and support among women, and all minority voices within Web3, to reshape the narrative for a more prosperous future. As we venture into this collective future, we acknowledge the significance of Women's Equality Day in shaping our aspirations for a more inclusive and equitable world for all.
