Dear community, We have successfully finalized the first step in the election process of the new Supervisory Council; Collecting feedback and input from our community so we can create a ‘requirements document’ that will guide SC candidates in positioning themselves. In doing so, we have encountered some open questions regarding the connection of the SC and SingComDAO to relevant regulatory structures. We want to ensure that the mandate of the new Supervisory Council and the legal status of SingComDAO are clear prior to the election process and we are working hard with a few experts to have these matters resolved ASAP. While it is far from ideal to have such a delay in this process, it is of course crucial to ensure that all our current and future initiatives are fully compliant with the Foundation’s formal legal structure. We are determined to have these matters resolved very quickly so we can continue our journey to develop an effective decentralized community-led organization.
